a dynamic new initiative designed to empower and elevate Tennessee’s BIPOC LGBTQ+ community
Inspired by the legacies of Ernestine Eckstein, Marsha P Johnson, and Bayard Rustin, the EJR Institute is fostering leadership skills and driving change in both professional and societal spheres.
Our goal is to uplift the legacy of past queer leaders and develop the next generation brown queer folks to live boldly and take on the mantle of leadership to progress our society forward.
Our Offerings Include:
The MIX Business Networking Events: Connect and collaborate in our bi-annual networking events tailored to cultivate strong, supportive networks.
Village Skills Workshop Series: Delve into professional development through workshops led by experts within the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community, enriching you with business and trade skills.
12-Week Cohort Program: Experience a structured learning journey with online classes via ZOOM every Thursday, complemented by on-demand digital courses for flexible, self-paced learning. Cap it off with a project and presentation to graduate victoriously.
