The Giving Out Loud Brunch is our staple event, where we honor and celebrate individuals in our community who have contributed to advancing the well-being of LGBTQ+ people of color. This event also serves as our premiere fundraising initiative which will allow us to continue to serve those who are the most marginalized.

This year in Tennessee, the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities specifically have been under attack and scrutiny from those who seek to diminish our rights. Lawmakers have tried to silence us, but we have stood face-to-face with discrimination and not wavered. In honor of our fight with adversity, the theme for our brunch this year is "Wear your Crown." MashUp! seeks to acknowledge and nurture the royal nature in all individuals. For our brunch, we will honor those in the community who have not only worn their crown but have fought for others to wear theirs.

Honorees include: Rep. Torrey Harris (first openly gay Tennessee State Representative), Kathy Halbrooks (Community Liaison, former President of PFLAG Nashville), and a posthumous honor to Courtney Lawrence Paris (Former Pageant Director for Glamour City Pageantry System).
